TADLOP NEWSLETTER APRIL 2008 Charity no: 701613                                                          http://www.tadlop.com

Well, it is nearly time for the next show. It has come around so quickly. Rehearsals are now taking place back at Hadley Village Hall on Sundays, and Belmont Hall on Wednesdays. This is due to the fencing scenes, as Le Mays was unfortunately not suitable for this purpose, due to the low ceilings. We are grateful to Roger and Debbie Ashford for making us feel so welcome there.

SPONSORSHIP

We are still looking for sponsors for the forthcoming show. As little as £10.00 will get your name in the programme. It doesn't have to be a business; you can do it as an individual.-There is still time (just) so please see Sheila Hood, or contact me at the address below. Every little helps!!

AGM

Please note that the AGM is on Wednesday 28th May 2008, at the Red Lion, Wellington at 7.30pm. Everyone is most welcome.

NEXT SHOW

It has been announced that the next show is going to be 'Pirates of Penzance', which I believe is to be an up to date version, with more sword fighting. Sounds like great fun.

FILMING

Much of the cast of 'Scarlett Pimpernel', were recently invited to be part of a film shoot, for the entrant of the short film category at the Los Angeles film festival. The director came to watch us dancing, and wanted us to do this in full costume at Sandford Hall, Stafford. This was quite an experience, and great publicity for the show.
